Rosie, Daisy and Violet join the flock

Yesterday, some good friends from Montgomery drove out to our house to bring us their three beautiful girls named Rosie, Daisy and Violet. We have a flock of 33 and so now we will have a 36.

Rosie, Daisy and Violet get a tour from a new friend. "Now this is how we drink water. Do you see the little shiny knobs under the board? Just peck at them and you will get a mouth full."

i'm a chicken groupie as I've been following Rosie, Daisy and Violet since my niece Deb introduced them on her blog. I'm looking forward to reading your blog, Debbie, not only to follow the girls but also to read your healthy food tips. After a severe allergic reaction to a food preservative/additive last May, I've been firm in only eating fresh healthy organically grown foods. Waiting for your next post.

I wanted to name the 3 sisters in my story Daisy, Rosie and Violet. I typed in the names on google and this popped up! Its sweet to know my sisters are really out there! Even if they're chickens!
