Sweet Cloverbud

Today I say goodbye to sweet little "Cloverbud." She has been ill for a while. I will miss how she would always walk up to me and just let me pick her up with no hesitation. She was truly a "sweetheart" of a hen.

Debbie, I am so sorry! Is this the chicken we met yesterday? You give all your chickens a wonderful life. Thank you for letting us meet them.

Yes, this is the little red hen you met in the garden. So sad to lose them. The other hen with the hurt foot had come around to Cloverbud's side when she passed away. Animals are so sweet and deserve our care.

That is just the sweetest and saddest thing I've heard... I'm glad they had each other.
